CAT 5e UTP LAN Patch Cord serisi, yapısal kablolama sistemlerinde kabinet ve kullanıcı terminalinde kullanılan 4 perli, UTP, her iki ucu sonlandırılmış patch cordlardan oluşmaktadır. Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Base-T) standardını destekler ve 100 MHz ‘e kadar bant genişliklerinde çalışır. Cat 5e Kablo, 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T Ethernet teknolojisi gibi ağ uygulamalarında 100 metreye (328 fit) kadar kullanılır ve Gigabit Ethernet uygulamaları için özel olarak tasarlanmıştır (bakır üzeri Gigabit).
